ENCOUNTER EGG DROP

The Encounter Egg Drop is a way for Encounter Church and Encounter Learning Center to show our community how much we care. Thousands of Easter eggs are dropped from a helicopter over Dedham, MA for a fun and festive event for the whole family! In addition to collecting Easter eggs, there are inflatables, outdoor games, opportunities to grab a picture with an Easter Bunny, a treasure hunt, and more! This is an event your family will talk about all year.

2024 Event Notice:

Due to the early arrival of Easter this year, our annual Encounter Egg Drop event would fall in mid-March when the weather is still unpredictable. While we love this fun outdoor event, we want to ensure the safety and comfort of all our attendees. Therefore, we have decided to take a break from the Egg Drop in 2024. We know this community event is a treasured tradition, and we look forward to bringing it back in full force in 2025! We hope you'll join us then for all the egg-citing festivities. In the meantime, we invite you to join us for one of our Easter services and to stay tuned for other community events we have planned. We wish you a joyful Easter!
